Aida (Hangul: 아이드, Aideu) is the leader of Los Mariachis and is a minor antagonist in Canto II: The Unloving.

Appearance

Aida is a young-looking woman with messy brown hair down to her chin, with spiky bangs concealing her forehead. She wears a large orange sombrero on her head, with a single strand of wheat in her mouth. She wears a white-and-orange jacket with puffy sleeves, holding the maracas she uses for combat. Beneath her jacket, she wears a black collared shirt fastened with a crimson brooch, tucked into an ornate orange belt with several holes along it. She wears green dress pants and dark shoes on her lower half.

Personality

Aida is someone who values entertainment above almost everything else life has to offer, with her love of gambling being an extension of that. While she is willing to follow the rules while playing a game, she will not accept a losing outcome when she knows that she has the ability to overwhelm the winner with force. Even when starting a fight, she keeps her usual relaxed and calm attitude.

Story

Aida is the boss of Los Mariachis, one of the major Syndicates in the Backstreets of District 10, and a participant in the poker game for control over the casino as well as the Golden Bough found underneath it. Aida and the other players play the game normally until Rodion begins to act suspicious, causing the Tieqiu Boss to accuse her of cheating. After the Tieqiu Boss was proven wrong and appropriately punished for it, Sonya accepts Rodion's win and leaves but Aida does not do the same. She reveals that the whole time she had planned to use Los Mariachis to win by force if she lost the game, and her and her crew attack The Sinners. While she loses the fight, Aida does escape with her life.
